A highly supportive Christian mom loses Guardianship of her mentally ill adult son due to her exercising rights given her under Chapter 35-1290 of the Guardianship Statute. This statute gives the Guardian the authority to make the medical treatment decisions that she thinks is in the best interest of her son. This mother choose alternative treatments due to the life threatening side effects of psychotropic drugs, experienced by her son. This lead to a so called medical professional filing a motion containing false statements in an attempt to have the Guardianship removed from this highly supportive mom. This has lead to a slew of damages including unsafe housing and the violations of the ADA, OLMSTEAD ACT AND THE REHAB ACT. Safe housing mom has! She and son want him to live there!!
