Please stop threatening social security and military benefits during debt ceiling discussions.

As another debt ceiling crisis nears I have again heard the President say that SS and military benefits could be delayed. I do not believe they have caused this crisis, so I propose you target those most responsible for this. You and members of congress. I did a quick internet search on your pay, not including perks and other benefits, it looks to be around 9.3B a year for the President, VP, and members of Congress. That's a start. If your not getting paid you should be motivated to work harder to figure it out. Next you can stop all foreign aid, which appears to be around 25B a year. Take care of your own before sending money to countries that do not really seem to like us much anyway. I'm sure if you look a little harder you can find more, like studying the effects of meth on monkeys etc
