Please stop the war on The Confederate Flag and statues dedicated in memory of our deceased Confederate leaders!
We are Southern NOT racist and like the black community we are also proud of proud of our ancestors though we may not necessarily be proud of what they fought for but the DID fight for what they thought was right at the time! You can not rewrite history and telling us we can not flag a confederate flag or taking down our monuments will not change a thing! A flag does not cause hated and bigotry a closed mind does! Just because a tragedy happens and an unbalanced young man is photographed with a confederate flag do not take it out on an entire group of people! Southerners are peace loving people who want to get along with everyone! Please do not take our Southern heritage away!
