Yelp is trusted online as one of the primary sources of objective, community based ratings and reviews. When customers search for ratings on businesses they find Yelps' ratings and reviews, but these are in fact doctored to create an intentionally false view of the business to coerce businesses into advertising with Yelp. We tested this rumor with our own sting and caught them in the act. All positive reviews our colleagues created were filtered, negative ones approved. Within 10 days we received a call at the business number requesting we advertise, in exchange they promised the positive reviews would be approved. Our company has had many reports of businesses who have experienced the same. Stop Yelp and restore American businesses with justice against criminals.
