Please support "Employment Authorization for Certain H-4 Dependent Spouses - 1615-AB92" proposed by DHS

Created by R.K. on December 19, 2012

DHS has proposed a rule to grant EAD's to H4 holders whose spouses' Labor or I 140 have been filed and have been on a H1B for 6 years.

This is a great opportunity for the spouses to become tax paying contributors to the society while utilizing their skills. It will give the family with two earners more confidence to invest in assets in the US. This will give the family more sense of stability and security and a better quality of life.

As the Permanent Residency process is winding it's way and the family is going through years long wait, this will give a welcome respite to the families.

It will provide an opportunity to the educated, talented, skilled spouses tom compete in the open market without fearing the stigma attached to sponsorship by a lot of employers.
