Please support H.R. 1889 Children of Military Service Members Commemorative Lapel Pins Act.

Created by R.P. on January 03, 2014

Tell Congress to support H.R. (House Resolution) 5333: Children of Military Service Members Commemorative Lapel Pins Act introduced by Congressman Bob Latta of 5th Congressional District in Ohio which recognizes the sacrifices made by the children of military service members (affectionately known as military brats). The Bill is currently languishing in committee. This is a simple bill that authorizes a dandelion lapel pin honoring the sacrifices of our military children that had to constantly move homes; re-adjust to new friends, schools and surroundings; and endure long separations from parents. “…military brats, my lost tribe, spent their entire youth in the service to this country, and no one even knew we were there.” - Mary Edwards Wertsch
