We the people ask that action is taken to prevent Governor Patrick of MA from changing the current 10 round magazine restriction to a 7 round restriction like the recent law in NY. This will turn lawful gun owners who purchased firearms with 10 round mags in MA legally within their rights into criminals. If gun owners are forced to sell or give up their 10+ round mags that will be considered confiscation and a violation of 2nd amendment rights.
If the 2013 Federal Assault Weapons ban passes, the national restriction would be 10 rounds with higher capacity being grandfathered in. Why in this state should my rights be any less valid then another state? We should not and can not be forced to give up our legally obtained firearm accesseries. This is unconstitutional.
