While I do not own a firearm, I have in the past and I support the second amendment. That said, I see no good reason for releasing the Sandy Hook security video tapes and forcing the families of the victims to relive the loss.
This may be one of the best times I've seen for coming together regardless of political party or position on firearm ownership to just show a little communal compassion.
The tapes would support both the pro and con stances on firearms, but it would be an act of kindness to not use them at all.
