Please work for a law that requires a balanced budget in a timely manner each year. Failing to do so should cause a forfeit of pay/compensation, healthcare or retirement for the portion of year not covered by a balanced budget. If this does not occur 2 quarters in a row, jail time should be required. I believe this is a matter of national security and not an issue covered by any one party.
