The Pledge of Allegiance should be left "AS IS"

Created by J.W. on October 15, 2011

The Pledge of Allegiance was said by millions of children in the past. Not once did I hear from anyone of them, growing up, how they felt the words, "Under God" was offensive. Not once have I heard the Pledge said in a church. What defines a, "GOD" ? is it not a supreme being, an entity, a belief ? does it say in the Pledge, one nation under, IAM,? I take it to mean any god that you believe in. It just so happens that in the history of the U.S. it meant for the most part 1 God. This God was never named ! are you sure you know God's name. Are other religions calling their prophets, God's ? if so why cant "God" mean anyone's interpretation of the all powerful. Violation of church and State, Come On. I say, DO NOT change the Pledge. Leave it as written..
