President Obama raised $750 million dollars in campaign contributions in 2008. It has been speculated that he will meet or exceed that amount for the 2012 campaign. Instead of spending all of those funds on promotions, campaign resources, and attack ads, could you please make a pledge to donate a significant portion to one or more worthwhile charities? This would serve two purposes: first and foremost, to help out those who are less fortunate. However, it would also prove to the electorate that you put the needs of others before your own.
