Within recent years, high profile politicians have repeatedly attempted to destroy the freedom of the internet with legislation designed only to protect large, out of control corporations. Action must be taken against this, and the internet must be kept free of charge and completely free from censorship. Our government must make a pledge to keep this.
On top of this, our government needs to choose the side of the consumers, who purchase products with funds, only to have corporations dictating what we can and cannot do with our purchased goods. They attempt to stop us from sharing and modifying our goods, and this is wrong.
If the United States is a nation of freedom, then give the consumers the freedom to do as they please with their purchased products, and keep the internet free.
