The 2nd Ammendment to the Constitution gurantees every American has the right to keep and bear arms. This affords our citizens their most basic human right of self defense. While gun violence and crimes are indeed horific, to restrict the millions of law abiding gun owners does not solve the problem. Time and again, municipalities which restrict guns have seen the highest rates of crime and violence. It is evident and plain to see that there is in fact correlation to this. The President has said repeatedly the Healthcare law is the law, so get over it. Well, the 2nd Ammendment has been our law for over 200 years.
We urge this administration to support and gurantee our 2nd Ammendment rights and to pledge to NOT take steps that hinder millions of law abiding citizen gun owners.
