The Second Amendment provides protection for every other Amendment in the Bill of Rights, as well as citizen rights outlined in the Constitution. But it fails to take into account the egregious corruption and lack of current day reasonable regulations needed to protect all citizens in regards to the ever growing massacres due to improperly regulated gun control.
The power and corruption from groups such as the NRA should no longer supersede the safety of the American public at large.
With this "do nothing" Congress who are colluded with the NRA, they consistently fail to act on the majority of Americans wishes.
Military style, high magazine guns and the ability for criminals, mentally challenged or obsessed gun nuts to purchase without proper regulation needs addressing.
