Although Lori Lerner of the IRS's taxe-exempt division on May 10th of this year apologized at a Washington D.C.-based meeting hosted by the American Bar Association for the alledged mistreatment that Tea Party and other Republican/conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status received, it has been revealed more recently in IRS "be on the lookout" lists dated from 2010 through 2013 that so-called progressive groups (presumably Democrat Party-leaning, since the BOLO lists defined "progressive" as "anti-Republican") that groups representing a wide variety of ideologies and caused may have been targeted for scrutiny when seeking exempt status.
