The Federal Government should implement a mandatory police bias removal and gun identification program to reduce the number of innocent people killed by police violence. If implemented the bias training and gun identification program should train police to properly identify a firearm at a distance and remove any biases a police officer would have against a specific race/gender/religion. Many police departments around the country have already implemented a program like this but this will make it mandatory for all police departments. Implementing this program would also bring back trust to our police force and government, showing that they are willing to work on removing a serious problem in our society and make our justice system fair and impartial.
