Police body cameras provide evidence when then necessary to prove use of force, all the way up to when a police shoots, and kills an innocent unarmed civilian. After the debut of the use of force and police misusing their power in the 60's, the trust with police and civilians has since been destroyed, and police body cameras may be able revitalize the relationship throughout. The cameras have also proven to lower misconduct within police as well as civilians, if you're being watched you're going to be more cautious about what you're doing. Maybe if we had police body cameras, cases like Michael Brown, a young unarmed man, who was shot and killed by police, wouldn't have taken so long to get all the evidence peiced together.
