We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Police Departments should be held accountable for brutality and acts of injustice

Created by J.S. on July 11, 2016

Many people all across the United States have been victims of police brutality where justice has not been served. In the recent tragedies of Alton Sterling and Philando Castille, the officers responsible for these shootings should be terminated from the police force because they took innocent lives. Also, Citizens have the right to protest. Those who are doing so in a peaceful manner should not be arrested, and when they are consequences for the arresting officers should be put in place. Also Baton Rouge,La Chief of Police and those in charge of hiring and firing the chief and officers be fired, because they are not holding officers responsible for these unjustly actions. Last every officer who supports black lives matter should be able to speak their opinions without being fired.
