Over the last few years, there has been an increase in police brutality. Whether it was racially motivated or not, something needs to be done. This petition calls for the limitation of police to using non-lethal weapons only. Many police officers are uneducated and feel power from a badge and a gun. By limiting police officers to using just tasers and/or pepper spray will decrease the number of fatalities. Lethal weapons are to be carried by a specific task-force which is specialized to operate them. This is to be done through an extensive training course as well as a mental health investigation.
