Police officers do what they do to protect us and to protect themselves at the same time. If they feel like they should be cautious of an individual, then they should be cautious. If they feel like they are about to be harmed by someone, then they should protect themselves. If they do something that the public does not believe is right or unfair, then the public needs to put themselves in their position. If you feel threatened then you will be cautious and protect yourself. That is what they are doing.
