police the police that are sworn to serve and protect the public

All over the United States the law enforcement has gone from serve and protecting to simply just enforcement. The police have been recorded on many occasions abusing the power given to them. It is about time something is done about all of these police officers killing people and abusing people as well. what the people need are police officers who are actually doing the job they signed up for and making sure that people are safe and abiding by the laws the government had set in place. i am from NYC and the NYPD have been a huge issue this year but i don't think that this pention should be restricted to just NYC because its a problem that has been here for years and as well has been all over the United States of America.
