In America, the system still finds a way to spew hatred on minorities: through the police force. They associate our black skin with crime and danger. Thus, unfairly targeting us and trying to take our people away with the promise of jail time. The result: Millions of citizens with black and colored skin, living in a country where they do not feel accepted nor safe. The very force that was established in order to protect American people, is the same force using their authority to unfairly target us. It is time for a change. We ask congress to have more effective psychological examinations for police officers, limit the powers that they have that can potentially be used against us, and allow us to have a voice against them during times of injustice.
