The police should have private MP3 sound recorders with their radio's at all times, to save taxpayer legal costs.

Created by A.S. on November 29, 2014

A huge amount of money is spent on court hearings every year, to assess witness statements involving arrests.

If every law enforcement officer had an MP3 player to record the speed at which events in their job happen, it would cost 10 dollars for each officer every year, and would save 30,000 dollars yearly, in extra lawyer hours that each officer is envolved with every year.

A 10 dollar investment, a 30,000 dollar saving?

It's like fixing a leaky roof. If you agree that it would benefit the economy and society, please support this petition.

Police officers have nothing to hide, and an important job to do, and omnidirectional microphone and an SD card shouldn't add any weight to their equipment!

Let there be a pilot scheme for it!
