Politicians need to live like us,pay for their own insurance, pay Social Security, not receive pay if not re-elected

It is time for politicians to come off their pedestal. I feel it is about time the politicians paid for their own insurance and go on the Obama plan. They also need to pay for their gym privileges and contribute to Social Security. Why should they receive their salary for the rest of their lives? They are finished serving us and need to secure a job like the rest of us. It may be good for them to also have to collect unemployment if they are not able to find a job. If they had to live like the rest of the American’s, they would see what it is like not to be privileged. They are to be representing us and aiding us so let them live like us. These few steps would save the government billions of money.
