Polls used for Presidential debate selection must include candidates from the three largest political parties.

The Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) uses unfair entry requirements to preclude candidates other than Democrats and Republicans from participating. The CPD only includes candidates who are supported by at least 15 percent of the national electorate, as determined by selected national public opinion polling organizations. By selecting polling organizations which only include Democrats and Republicans in the polls, the CPD deprives Americans of the opportunity to directly compare candidates from other parties to the Democratic and Republican nominees. This petition requests an Executive Order directing that debates sponsored by the CPD shall include candidates from the three largest political parties, as determined by the number of registered voters.
