Arbor Day is one of this country's greatest and most neglected holidays. It deserves to be revived as a day on which people plant trees and other plants, work with their neighbors to clean up vacant lots, learn about nature, wild animals and the environment, and visit National Parks. We, the undersigned, believe that reviving this great holiday would help to bring the nation together, as it would be completely non-partisan, pro-American, and appealing to ruralists, urbanites and suburbanites. Please revive Arbor Day in the hearts of all Americans.
