We petition President Obama, the Department of State and the Department of Defense to position a unit of US Army tanks near the Russian border (legally and with the permission of other states involved). When the Russian Federation's military takes note and inquires about it through diplomatic channels, we would like the President or the Secretary of State to make a statement to the effect that there is no US military in all of Europe, and that those people with tanks over there must be vacationers who bought the tanks second hand.
This might, at first glance, seem like a petulant act, but it has two benefits.
It would send a very clear message to the Russian Federation that they have lost all credibility, and it would bolster the defense of NATO.
