On 10/26, Dilma Rousseff was democratically reelected and that sparked some protests in Brazil, demanding military intervention against the ruling workers' party government. We are aware that, while concerns of fraud and rumours about corruption in the elections are reasonable, the measures that can be taken should be done according with the constitution and respecting the current government. We call for a White House position in relation with the fascist, anti-democratic opposition that currently demands the army to disregard the Brazilian constitution, even having already received a declaration that the Brazilian armed forces respect the result of the elections. Brazil does not want to be a dictatorship again, and the Brazilians need help from the USA to support our democracy.
