Dear president Obama,
You were asked to position yourself against what some people call bolivarianism in Brazil, which your administration seems to consider, correctly, not a real thing.
But a real struggle Is actualy taking place right now, when right wing politicians in our Congress are limiting raped woman rights to medical care and contraceptive medication, trying to categorize peaceful manifestations as terrorism, criminalize free speech when it refers to politicians and undermine gender and sexual orientation equality, by passing laws criminalizing the so called "heterophobia" and limiting by law the concept of family to married heterossexual couples with children. This goes against UN, OAS and, of course, US policies throughout the western world.
