Post signs on all interstate highways designating lane usage, including using the left lane for passing only.

Created by M.L. on December 25, 2012

Many motorists do not know the lane designations on our nation's highways. Many states have signs posted which seem to affect drivers' behaviors. Dangerous driving behaviors such as slow travelers in the far left lane and fast travelers in the far right lane can be averted more often with posted signs on the interstate. Signing this petition also means that you are for a law that would enforce these lane designation rules if that is a requirement for enforcement.

An example of the posted rules/law for a 4 lane highway would be:

Left Lane (Lane 1): Passing Traffic
Lanes 2 & 3: Moderate Speed Traffic
Right Lane (Lane 4): Slow Traffic
