We are a country divided. We are faced with many important issues - a struggling economy, gun control, energy and environmental concerns - and so many of these issues have equally intelligent points on both sides. These discussions all too often lead to intensely partisan debates that are plagued with negative rhetoric, and this negatively colors the people's perception of the government. We petition the president and his staff - and all congressional leaders that can be persuaded to participate (both parties please!) - to take just a few minutes out of their understandably busy days and record a 30 second video in the style of the 'Harlem Shake' internet meme and post it to youtube - show us that, after all the tense and often negative debates, you still are fun-loving human beings!
