Postal Reform Needed In Congress not USPS

Created by J.B. on March 25, 2014

Postal volumes have dropped precipitously in recent years due to longer-run shifts in communication technologies and other economic factors. However, the Postal Service needs more than just short term financial relief at this time; it needs a comprehensive plan for reform to ensure that it can be flexible and competitive in a changing marketplace.

NOT TRUE.

USPS does not cost the taxpayers a nickel in taxes. It is completely independent.. US Congress has forced the USPS to collect 75 years in benefits to cover employees in just 10 years. Not even a business can do this. They want to PRIVATIZE the Post Office. Our forefather Ben Franklin wouldn't PRIVATIZE the very service he felt the government should provide to its citizens. Please make Congress repeal this punitive measure!
