The citizens of Seattle and the surrounding communities request that the President's planned fund raising trip to Seattle on July 22, 2014. That week sees the closure of all but one lane of westbound I-90, the primary east-west corridor, for maintenance work. The impact of this project on Seattle area traffic is already immense and a closure of I-5 for the presidential motorcade will have massive ramifications on traffic and will result in innumerable additional wasted hours for motorists stuck in traffic.
