potentially consider the transition into the Metric System

Created by J.C. on March 04, 2015

The United States is only one of three current countries that have not adapted to the Metric System. The other two are Liberia and Burma. This makes for difficult conversion rates, confusion for international travel, and troubles when teaching both the Metric and Imperial system in basic level educational classes. The transition would ensure not only ease of international conversion, but also, once learned, is significantly easier to follow than the Imperial System and would not require much implementation. There is no standing reason as to why we should stick with the Imperial System, but all the reason to switch to Metric.
