Pres. Obama and his admin should take every appropriate measure to ensure Pres. Trump takes steps against climate change

President Obama has worked during his Presidency to ensure that our planet can and will survive the current, scientifically proven, warming that is taking place. While he has set plans in motion to reduce carbon emissions and to switch to renewable energy in the future, those plans could be wiped away by a Republican trifecta-control of the Federal Government. It is time for President Obama to have a discussion with President-Elect Donald Trump to inform, convince, and warn him about the potential risks and the setbacks that warming will cause in our ever changing world. If we have an Trump Administration that actively denies and refuses to combat climate change, it will have a far reaching impact on not just the US, but the entire world.
