Martin Indyk is NOT a fair-minded independent peace broker. He is co-chairman of the New Israel Fund (NIF) which sponsors a wide range of far-left Anti-Israel groups in Israel and abroad. NIF funded left-wing organizations provided false quotes to the United Nations for its report on Israel's "Cast Lead Operation" which was deemed one-sided and defamatory by Israel.
The NIF also encourages legal proceedings against Israeli soldiers and government officials in the Intl courts and is active in the BDS movement (boycott, divest, and sanctions) against Israel as an apartheid nation. One Israeli official describes Indyk as "completely unsuitable for the position of mediator" in peace talks and called on the US administration to replace him QUICKLY with an "honest broker" before talks begin.
