Present a bill that requires Congress (past, future, & present) to participate in Social Security.

Present a bill that requires Congress (past, future, & present) to participate in Social Security.
This is one of the suggestions made by a well-known solid citizen who is also a master of finance. Taxpayers do not want to continue paying for special retirement benefits for our elected officials. Also, with members of Congress participating along with the general populace in Social Security and personal savings plans instead of having their own elite Congressional retirement program, voters would likely be better represented in Congress. This would partially “even the playing field” between voters and elected officials.
