It is not enough that corporations should not be allowed to influence elections as "people." They should not be allowed ANY influence on policy making or elections. Corporations and other types of associations are not human, they are not citizens, and their constant influence has created the ridiculous tax system and horrible red tape that we the people suffer under...in virtually any area a citizen might be interested, we find regulations promoted and often written by corporate interests. We need a constitutional amendment not to remove their personhood (which still allows them to use their financial power), but to remove their influence altogether by restricting the decisions of US government to the representative democracy of, by and for the human people who are its citizens.
