Present a new US Tax code to the Congress for ratification that is no longer than ten pages. Include no deductions and no loopholes.
Taxes should assessed on net income only.
Set a minimum personal income level where no taxes are assessed. Any income above that level is taxed.
Create a three tiered tax system for both individuals and business. Low Income, Middle Income and High Income.
I suggest 10%, 15% & 20%.
The personal income tax form should be no bigger and no more complicated than to fit on a 4x6 postcard.
