Mr. President, Russia has described the West as the equivalent of a monkey with a grenade. Instead of furiously preparing for war, I ask of you to first either present proof publicly and openly for scrutinization by everyone from United States intelligence, or give the United Nations team in Syria ample time to conduct their research regarding chemical weapons. That being said, I also encourage a deadline to be put on them, so that the United Nations can't prevent us from forcing Syria to answer for its crimes if they have committed any.
Furthermore, if we do go to war, I ask that ground troops be left out as much as possible, considering that last time we went into a foreign country, it took years to leave. Utilize the technology available, find some intel, and then make your decision.
