preserve the integrity of information on the internet from malicious abusers of this system.

Created by M.C. on January 30, 2013

The internet laws created in the late 1990s are obsolete. The law-makers at that time could not have imagined abuses which regularly occur and harm thousands each day. Namely, it is too difficult for victims of internet malice to have images and false content removed from the internet. Providers like Google and WordPress simply will not remove malicious content even if it is patently false and harmful to a person's reputation. People are forced to hire attorneys and to go through lengthy and costly processes to remove false information or humiliating images. The information super-highway is being turned into an information sewer by companies which refuse, for monetary reasons, to establish and monitor fair standards. The law favors irresponsible companies instead of innocent victims.
