Too long have we blamed lawful gun owners for the crimes of a minority of evil people. Knowing full well that evil people will do evil things no matter what the laws say, democrats continue the radical push towards limiting the freedoms of good decent Americans in response to obscene acts of violence. Good decent Americans have a sacred right to self defense. The second amendment is clear that the right to bear arms is a liberty that cannot be legislated away. If we really want to get serious on terrorism, we should pursue policies that target terrorists, not law abiding citizens.
