Preserve the Union and to reject all petitions for secession of any part or state of the Union.

We must the preserve the Union! It is better to stay united and together than to weaken the greatest nation in the world by dividing its power and resources in numerous independent states. Secessionism is foolish and dangerous while Unionism will ultimately benefit all Americans. We cannot credibly stand by our allies, such as Israel, if we are divided and weak. Our enemies, such as Russia and Iran, will take advantage of our weakness. We must reject divisive secessionist proposals and stand together as one democratic constituency.
