Preserve the Union & Remember Not Everyone is For Secession. Try To Resolve Peacefully If Possible.

We ask that the federal government take peaceful steps to preserve the Union and to take such petitions to secede seriously. As everyone has a right to their opinion, we do not want to retaliate against people who signed said petitions, but we want to make sure that everyone is noted to be in the minority in their state. There are far more people who want to stay and work things out, and we do not want bloodshed the likes we have not seen since the 1860s during the Civil War. We, however, do acknowledge that show of force may be necessary, but we encourage you to make every step to avoid it without conceding to the secessionists. In the meantime, please remember there are patriots in every state who do not believe that secession is the answer. Thank you.
