Many times our government takes actions or enacts legislation without the consent of the People. This leads to increased government secrecy and a debilitating Republic.
When Americans such as Edward Snowden are prosecuted and tried for treason for informing the People when the government has not, We the People must take action.
Members of Congress must legally be liable to their constituents and States' legislatures to inform them on all legislation introduced for a vote and enacted, whether an issue of national security or not. We the People, as the Nation in national security, deserve to know what we are being subjected to.
Our Representatives must uphold the Framers' intent to establish a Republic based on the will of the People alone. If not, our Republic has become an oligarchy.
