President, like other elected positions need to be elected by popular vote as opposed to electoral college votes. Popular vote represents the true choice of the people. Electoral college systems is a flawed system, and was originally designed to overrule/circumvent the popular choices. It is time we get rid of it. We need our elected officials to have the majority support to be successful. If the candidate does not have the popular support, they are more likely to be unsuccessful in their elected position. Time to Correct the System for electing the most powerful individual. Having the wrong person can be devastating and have negative effects for decades.
