We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

The President to direct Attorney General Lynch to open an investigation of Donald Trump for violation of the Logan Act.

Created by T.S. on December 04, 2016

On 2 December 2016 President-elect Donald Trump made a telephone call to the president of Taiwan in clear contravention of the United States' "One China" policy.

The Logan Act of 1799 prohibits citizens from negotiating with foreign governments without authorization. Violation is a felony. On the date of the call, Donald Trump was still a private citizen.

We ask President Obama to direct Attorney General Lynch to open an investigation of this apparent violation.
