Although individual income tax returns are private information protected by law from unauthorized disclosure, it has been the courtesy of those seeking the presidency to release their returns or summary data regarding taxes publicly. On November 8, 2016, President-Elect Trump became the first presidential candidate in modern history not to give the American Public this courtesy prior to the general election. In his victory speech, Pres-Elect Trump pledged to every citizen that I will be President for all Americans & work immediately for the American people.
With this petition, the people demand from Pres-Elect Trump, their public servant, the tax returns and/or summary data about his federal taxes for 2014, the fiscal year filing before his candidacy announcement on June 15, 2015.
