We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

President-elect, please denounce the KKK

Created by M.K. on November 10, 2016

Ronald Reagan famously repudiated his endorsement from the Klu Klux Klan, stating "The politics of racial hatred and religious bigotry practiced by the Klan and others have no place in this country, and are destructive of the values for which America has always stood". He wrote the letter after receiving a request from a member of the Civil Rights Commission.

We who sign this document ask that the Civil Rights Commission request a similar response from President-elect Donald Trump regarding his endorsement from the Klu Klux Klan, noting that without such a response, the President-elect would be implicitly furthering the agenda of the KKK.
