As an American citizen I am both disappointed and appalled at the response I received in my email regarding a pettition for the succession of Texas. To imply that American citizens need American history lessons sent by email. The idea of the We the People platform is a chance to engage directly with OUR GOVERNMENT, and not our governments "most outspoken critics."
In response yes "of the people, by the people, and for the people" is how Abraham Lincoln would describe our nation, and over 113,000 people from Texas are informing you of disapproval.
This American is petitioning for government reform at the highest level. This administration is threatening the 2nd amendment is deliberately ignoring outcries of disapproval and minipulating the media to support it's agenda.
